taming the beast

Many moons ago, I attended a series of professional workshops on being an efficient assistant.  Much of what I learned way back then is still relevant today.  While the stacks of paper are diminished to emails, texts, IMs, and files on the cloud drive, the concept is still true.....do it once, efficiently, effectively and completely then move on to the next.

As a team member, I quickly learned the agent office setting is one that challenges that concept.  Agents' offices are BUSY!  As an agency field specialist, I earned the title of "BOD Specialist" for my team and spoke often on effective, efficient processes to taming the beast we all know as BOD.  Did it work?  Not completely.  Why?  Because agents' offices are BUSY!

A while back, I took a leap of faith to leave the agency field specialist role behind to move closer to my family.  And now, here I am with all this BOD know-how, offering to help you tame the beast.
